Weekend Diversions (1st July 2009)

Diversion (24 June 2009)
Due to a collapsed sewer Anchorsholme Lane East will be closed to traffic at the junction of St Georges Avenue from 0900hours Thursday 25th June.
Line 3 buses operating to Cleveleys should operate normal route to North Drive then turn left on Valeway, right to Fleetwood Rd and right at the traffic lights returning to normal route at Lidl. Reverse of the above route for southbound journeys.
Line 4 buses should operate normal route to North Drive then continue via North Drive, Victoria Road West to Cleveleys Centre and then normal route. Southbound service is reverse of above.
The closure should be in place for approx 10 days.
Fares Increase (23 June 2009)
We are sorry to announce a rise in fares, the first for a year, due to the significant reduction (nearly £1m) in the level of reimbursement we receive from the Lancashire Joint Concessionary Travel scheme for carrying Concessionary pass holders.
From Sunday 28th June on-bus Adult single fares will rise, generally by 5p or 10p, and returns & Child fares will increase in proportion. Adult MetroSavers will rise to £3.95 for a day’s unlimited travel and Child MetroSavers will cost £2.00. The prices of 7-day ZoneCards will rise by 50p and all 30-day Zonecards will cost £1.50 more.

Town Centre Diversions to continue until 14th August (12th June 2009)
Due to the massive over running of the road works in the Town Centre we are very sorry but we will have to continue with the published diversions that have been in force since March.
