Seasonal Flexity2 Tram Conductor

Exciting opportunities are now available to join the team at Blackpool Transport as a conductor on our new state of the art tram system until the end of the 2012 Illuminations.

After successfully completing the testing and interview process you will commence a training programme which will include an NVQ2 in Customer Care.

PCV/HGV Fitters

We are seeking to recruit 2 PCV/HGV Fitters to work in the Bus Garage.

Duties will include the maintenance and repair of our extensive bus fleet both in the depot and at roadside.

Applicants should hold NVQ 3 or City & Guilds in Large Vehicle Maintenance having served a recognised apprenticeship in HGV or PCV Maintenance.

A PCV or HGV driving licence is desirable.

Hours of work will be 0730hrs - 1530hrs Monday to Thursday and 0730hrs - 1500hrs on Friday. The possibility of shift working may arise at a later date.

The rate of pay is £10.75 per hour and benefits include competitive pay rates, concessionary travel and a pension and life insurance scheme subject to age & service.

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

We are seeking to recruit a time-served Electrical Technician to work at our new Starr Gate Depot.

Duties will include the maintenance and repair of our tram fleet, the supply network and company buildings.

Applicants should hold a nationally recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering and have experience working in an industrial and commercial environment with the ability to use fault diagnostic and inverter control equipment.

The rate of pay is £13.20 per hour and benefits include competitive pay rates, concessionary travel and a pension and life insurance scheme subject to age & service.
